WORK AMONG THE TROOPS. [per PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

WELLINGTON, May, 6. At a. meeting of the. Dominion Uoun- • cil of Toch H, consideration was given J to the way in which the request at . The Council decided to. devote all the funds not required for immediate administrative expenses, towards assisting this effort. After reference had been made tc the useful work being, done for members of the armed forces on leave, by Toe H organisations,' further, avenues’ of service to the troops were discussed.- The importance of further work was also stressed. The decision of the Dominion Executive to keep all Toe H members on actiye service “financial,'• for the duration* of the war was confirmed. Among the officers elected were Lieut.-Colonel F. D. Bowerbank (Wellington), Dominion President; Rev. A. M. Williams (Christchurch) Dominion padre; Mr A. S. Geddes (Christchurch), chairman of the Dominion Executive; and Mr P. Huston, Dominion Secretary.
