BRITAIN’S COAL.

The distribution of coal in Britain has now almost returned to normal. During the past few days one railway alone employed 25,000 wagons to move over 390,000 tons of coal from the collieries to destinations in all parts of the country.

A French professor, Dr. Montet, has unearthed', at Sanelhagar, near Port Said, intact, the tomb of the Pharoah, Psou Psennes, who ruled from 1067 B.C. to 1080 B.C. The tomb contained a quantity •of valuable historic material, also a coffin of red granite. There is, further, a sarcophagus containing another unopened coffin, as well as a collection of solid gold plate of exquisite workmanship, and solid silver plate, laid ou,t on a gold table, near, a golden altar.
