WEST COAST TOURNAMENT. The West Coast Bowling Centre’s annual tournament is being continued to-day, but again progress is hampered by the heavy showers, and rainsoaked greens. Visiting Canterbury, Otago and West Coast bowlers took part in a progressive fours tournament at the Runanga Bowling Club’s Greens on Sunday. The visitors played in the fours with Runanga Club members, and the tournament resulted in a win for Page (s). J. and W. Hillhouse, and W. Taylor. The run-ners-up were J. Mahar (s), D. Barnes. Kidler and T. King, who also received a trophy.
GREYMOUTH PAIRS. J. S. Robertson and L. G. Mercer defeated A. Hughes and A. Tabb in the final of the Greymouth Bowling Club’s pairs championship. ’ COBDEN TOURNAMENT. In a progressive tournament on the Cobden green on Sunday R. Robb won the lead’s prize, and T. Gilmour the skip’s prize. KARORO SINGLES. In the final of the Karoro Bowling Club’s singles championship on Saturday, L. Donnelly defeated R. Sansom.
