BRITAIN’S SUPPLY POSITION

RUGBY, December 9. Speaking at Uxbridge, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Supply, Mr. Liewellin, referred to next Wednesday’s secret session of the Commons, at which the general supply position will be discussed. He was confident, he said, that the supply position was fully assured. BUSY DAYS AHEAD. r. (Recd., December 11, 11.15 a.m.) RUGBY, December 10. In the last few days before the adjournment on Thursday for the Christ'mas recess, Parliament will be fully engaged. In the Commons, there will be a secret session on Wednesday, when the discussion will be on the .supply of arms and munitions. On Tuesday, the House will hear a statement on the war in the air, by the Secretary for Air Sir Kingsley Wood), while before the adjournment on Thusday, the Prime Minister will review the progress of the war as a Whole.
, On all these days, the question-list will be long. The Russian attack on Finland, and further measures towards the co-ordination and organisation of the nation’s economic effort, are subjects in the forefront of interest.
