QUEEN TO BROADCAST

The Queen will broadcast, on Armistice Day, a message to the women of Britain and the Empire. She will speak for five minutes, beginning at 9 p.m. The last occasion on which the Queen broadcast was her farewell speech from Halifax, Nova Scotia, at the close of the Royal tour of Canada.
