The Amsterdam correspondent of the “Daily Mail” says that a battle between six warships and 12 aeroplanes occurred off the islands of Schiermonnikoog yesterday morning, well outside Dutch territorial waters. Neither the aeroplanes nor the warships could be identified. NO CONF IRMA T 1 ON. LONDON, October 19. The Admiralty has no confirmation of a. reported battle off Schiermonnikoog.
