BRITISH LINERS TORPEDOED TWO SUNK IN ATLANTIC [by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] LONDON, October 18. The Bibby linqr Yorkshire, of 10,000 tons, has been sunk in the Atlantic, as well as the Ellerman Line vessel City of Mandalay, of 7000 tons. The American steamer Independence Hall has radioed Bordeaux that she is arriving to-day with 300 survivors of the Yorkshire and City of Mandalay. Two hundred and twentythree survivors are from the Yorkshire, 60 of whose passengers and crew are still missing.
