Malls close at the Chief Post Office as under: Reefton 6.8 a.m. and 2.40 p.m. Nelson 6.8 a.m. Westport, 7 a.m., and Mon., Tues., Thurs., Saturday 4 p.m. Hokitika 6.35 a.m., 10.15 a.m., and 3.45 p.m. Christchurch, Dunedin and North Island, Mon., Tues., Thurs., Sat., 9.18 a.m.; late fee 9.48 a.m. North Island (letters only), Wed. and Fri., 6.8 a.m. Christchurch and Dunedin 4.30 p.m. and 6 p.m.; late fee 5 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. Saturday 7.30 p.m.; late fee 7.45 p.m. INLAND AIR MAIL. The Chief Post Office, Greymouth will observe Labour Day as a close holiday in all branches. There will be one despatch of mails closing at the usual hours, except that mails usually closing after 7.15 a.m. (except airmail) will be closed at that time. No postmen’s deliveries will be made. Airmail closes as usual at 10.30 a.m. Counter delivery; The usual delivery of correspondence over the counter to persons residing within the postmen’s delivery, which in previous years was made on the Saturday evening prior to the holiday, will not be made on this occasion. Telegraph Attendance: Attendance from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., noon to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange: Continuous attendance. Private Bo?; Lobby: Open 6 a.m. to midnight.
