The Chief Post Office, Greymouth will observe Labour Day as a close holiday in all branches. There will be one despatch of mails closing at the usual hours, except that mails usually closing after 7.15 a.m. (except airmail) will be closed at that time. No postmen’s deliveries will be made. Airmail closes as usual at 10.30 a.m. Counter delivery; The usual delivery of correspondence over the counter to persons residing within the postmen’s delivery, which in previous years was made on the Saturday evening prior to the holiday, will not be made on this occasion.
