TYPHOON’S HAVOC

The Tokio correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says that the typhoon reached Kyushu Island, and killed 38 people, while the missing number 33. Scores were injured. Thousands are homeless in Kagoshim City. Hundreds of fishing boats have been destroyed. Landslides have wrecked bridges and highways on the island, and dis-i rupted the communications.
