If issued at all. the report by lhe Board of inquiry into the sinking of the Dolphin by lhe Ballery Point coastal defence gun will not be released until the inquest on Frederick .lames Brasell is held. “The report is purely a departmental one, as we have to get the facts as soon as we possibly can, ’ said the Minister for Defence (Mr Jones.) this evening. The Minister said he had not yet received the report, the publication —if at. all —of any details ol which would be deferred until lhe inquest, was finished. So far, no inforinatlon had been received as to when the inquest would be resumed. The report of the Board of inquiry was handed during the week-end" to Colonel P. H. Bell, Officer Commanding the Southern Military District. It was studied by him, and will be forwarded to the Army authorities m Wellington. _____
