RUNANGA NOTES

[OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] The Runanga Women’s Miniature Hille Club held its third annual social and presentation of trophies on Saturday evening. Representatives of both Greymouth Clubs and the Runanga Men's Club were present. Mrs Hen-dc-ison (president.) welcomed the visitors. Mr M. Garth replied for the Grey mon th. visitors, and Mr J. Smith, on behalf of the Runanga Men’s Club. Mrs Henderson presented the trophies won during the season, the prize-list being as follows:—Off the Rille Championship Cup and Miniature: Mrs Finn 1, Mrs Henderson (Mr Smith's trophy) 2,. Miss Sheard (Club trophy) 3. Handicap Championship Cup and Miniature: Mrs Mossop (Mrs Currie’s Cup) 1, Mrs Ewan (Mrs Henderson’s trophy) 2, Mrs Hildebrand (Mr Southward’s trophy) 3. Hotty Button Championship Cup: Mrs Pinn 1, Mrs Mossop (Mr Freeman’s trophy) runner-up. Mr K. E. Balchin’s trophy (sealed dates): Mrs Mossop 1. Mr Smith’s trophy, tor most improved beginner: Mrs Boote. Mrs Bannister’s trophy for most consistent attender not winning a- trophy: Miss Dalzell. Manderson’s trophy, for member not winning a trophy during the season: Mrs Cost. Mr Hogg’s trophy lor tire lowest scorer during the season: Mrs Lanini. The winning team (Rovers) as follow each received’ a miniature cup: Mrs Henderson (leader). Mrs Hildebrand, Mrs Bourke, Mrs Scott. Miss Sheard. After supper which was served by club members, a dance concluded the evening.
