KUMARA NOTES

[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Former residents of Kumara, Mrs H. Forster, accompanied by her son, Mr D. Forster, now of Wellington, are visiting the West Coast. The fine weather at present being experienced has resulted in whitebait, in small quantities, coming up the Teremakau River, the retail price being 2/6 per pint. Rev. M. Fisher left for Chistchurch, yesterday, to attend the Anglican Synod. He expects to return on Saturday.
