GERMANS IN YUGOSLAVIA. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] NEW YORK, October 14. The “New York Times” Belgrade correspondent states Nazi agents are active among German minorities in north Yugoslavia, explaining the proposed repatriation of -Germans in Yugoslavia. Reports that Germans in the Baltic States have been forced to sell properties at cut prices are causing anxiety among Yugoslavia’s 480,000 German-speaking subjects. The German Press earlier announced that most of the Germans would not be affected. Now the Press calls on Germans to make a sacrifice and accept the invitation to return, in order to release exchange- with which the Reich can buy its needs. The German peasants in Yugoslavia are promised land in West Poland, and merchants are assured of opportunities after the liquidation of Polish Jews.
