FOR THE CHILDREN

HEALTH STAMPS NOW ON SALE The Children's Health Camp movement will continue its beneticient activity. despite the dilliculties of the times. The familiar Health Stamps —there are two connected witli the present appeal—are being issued by the Post Oliice from to-day; and as the proceeds from the health contribution associated with their sale has now become the main financial basis of this work. it. is expected that the community will not forget the children, although demands on its generosity may bo heavy during the comign months. The Health Camp committees of voluntary workers all over Now Zealand will not abandon their efforts because times are unsettling, and they confidently rely on public support to carry through tlie coming Summer’s programme which will give so mucn pleasure and health-benefit to the children. “Unfortunately, it is not the fortune of every child to be possessed of good health.” stated the GovernorGeneral. Lord Galway, in commending last year's appeal to Now Zealanders. “The facilities foi* health improvement should be available to all children, not only that they may be spared suffering in later years, but also that they may he assured of sufficient strength and endurance to fight a valiant battle in life’s work.”
