ASSURANCE TO POLAND. LONDON, September 7. Mr Chamberlain broadcast to the Polish people, through their Ambassador in London, an assurance which it is believed will demolish any hope Herr Hitler might have, that Britain and France will consent to peace after the defeat of the Polish armies, or the capture of Warsaw.
