Kalingo, Sydney early. SHIPPING NOTES. Hokitika sailed last evening for Bruce Bay, to load timber for Wellington. Tees arrived this morning from Wellington, and is loading timber for return. She is to sail on Monday. Karepo arrived this morning with cargo from Wellington, and will load coal for return. She is expected to complete loading for despatch on tomorrow night’s tide, if conditions are favourable.

Gabriella (for Miramar and Wellington) and Kaimiro (for Portland and Auckland) were unable to sail this morning, owing to restricted depth on the bar, and are now scheduled to sail this evening. Gael is loading cargo for Jackson’s Bay, and is expected to sail on Sunday morning. Rata is to sail this afternoon, for New Plymouth and Tarakohe. Puriri is due at 8 o’clock this evening, from Onehunga. She is to sail tomorrow night for'Nelson, and will return to load timber for Port Waikato and Onehunga. Kauri is expected about September 2, to load timber for Adelaide. Kalingo is expected about the middle of the first week in September, to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. AT OTHER PORTS. SUVA, August 25. Sailed, Monterey, yesterday, for San Francisco.
