Results:— First grade: Canterbury 14, Otago 13. Southland 30, Hawke’s Bay IG. Wellington 23, Auckland 21. Second grade: South Canterbury 25, Ashburton 20. Manawatu. 17, Southland minor 10. Third grade: West Coast 2‘, Otago minor nine. Wanganui 25, Hokitika six. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY The following is the draw for the first round of the B grade Yankee tournament to be played at the Main School, commencing at 2.15 p.m. on Saturday: — Section 1: United A v. St. Mary’s B; Paroa B a bye.
Section 2: Technical B v. Taylorville; Runanga B v. Convent O.G. C. The referees will be Misses McGinley and Rohloff and Messrs Dowling and Auld.
