| Something of a record in the way of > continuity of employment has been put. up by Mr. William Wakelin, who recently retired after a lifetime of service in the employ of Messrs. Ba.rniughani and Go.. Ltd., ironfounders. Dunedin. Mr. Wakelin had been employed by the firm continuously for close on GO years, and though this period of employment has been equalled, or even bettered by sedentary workers, it is believed to be a record for a man tiled in one of the heavy industries.
