FLIER’S BODY DISCOVERED. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. May 16, 10.40 a.m.) LUMPUR (Malaya), May 15. A native discovered the body of Littleton Hay, the British flier, alongside his wrecked plane, in dense jungle, on a mountainside. A message from Singapore, on May 10, stated tljat six R.A.F. planes were searching for Littleton Hay, who was en route to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur, in a club ’plane. FRENCHWOMAN KILLED. (Recd. May 16, 2.15 p.m.) PARIS, May 15. Madame Girod, holder of the French women’s gliding record of six hours 52 minutes, was killed when her glider, which was cast off from a powerplane, fluttered and nose-dived. Her husband, who is a member of the Parliamentary Air Commission, witnessed the accident.
