MAWHERAITI NOTES

An enthusiastic, meeting was held in the Holland Memorial Hall, on Thursday evening, for the purpose of finalising arrangements, for the completion of lhe swimming bal.lt. t’p to the present time, a good deal of voluntary work has been done by the residents. The swimming bath is only a short distance away from the school, and it is important, from an educational point of view, to have it completed, as it would he a real asset, to the school children. It was resolved to ask Mr. Skinner, M.P.. to make an inspection, and that a committee of three be appointed to go into detail and prepare estimates.
