Struck by a motor-car in Parawai Crescent, Grey Lynn, last evening, Thomas Henry Williams. 71, a draptr, of Ponsonby. was taken to hospital with extensive injuries from which he died this morning. WOMAN'S FATAL FALL. PALMERSTON N.. March 9. A. tragic accident occurred on the. Ormond road, near Woodville, al 9.15 pan. yesterday, resulting in the death of Mrs. Elsie Ada Harris, wife of Alfred Harris, a farmer, of Woodville. Mrs. Harris had been with her husband visiting friends, and they were on their way home when the accident occurred. Mr. Harris, who was driving, noticed that the front door on his wife’s side of the car was loose on its catch. Mrs. Harris leaned forward to pull it closed, but instead pushed it open and she tell to the roadway, lauding on her head. Death was instantaneous.

Ager, of Rangiora. suffered head injuries and concussion when two motor-cars collided on Marshland road, near the Styx bridge, this morning. When he struck a stationary car while riding a cycle near the corner of Ollivier’s and Ferry roads about 9.30 to-night, Jack Ball, suffered head injuries. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital.
