GREYMOUTH CLUB The monthly meeting of the Greymouth Bowling Club was held in the Pavilion’ Present: Messrs T. A. W. Tate (chairman), F. H. Denton, A. J. Fairmaid, D. F. Mursell, J. N. King, F. Congreve, L. Patterson, and the Secretary, Mr. F. A. Hughes. An apology for absence was received from Mr. F. Haglund. It was decided to advise the Cobden Club that they could challenge for the Reynolds Badges, a letter having been received from Mr. W. E. Reynolds, donor of the trophy, asking the Greymouth Club to include the Cobden Club in these competitions. A copy of minutes of Greymouth Club meetings from 1903 to 1906 was received from Mr. T. Jones. —It was decided to forward a letter of thanks. Accounts amounting to £5l/5/2 were passed for payment. It was decided to hold a progressive tournament next Sunday and also on Easter Saturday and Monday, commencing at 9;45 a.m. each day. It was decided to advise all competitors left in the handicap singles and pairs that those competing must be finalised by March 31. COMPETITION MATCHES Competitions held during the past week resulted as follow: — Handicap Singles: Armstrong defeated Vaughan; Hughes defeated Mayell; McCorkindale defeated R. Smith; Kilgour defeated W. P. Smith; Crankshaw defeated W. P. Smith; Mercer defeated Sharp junr.; Shannon defeated Mursell; Southward defeated Crankshaw; Tate defeated Kettlq; Tate defeated R. T. Smith; Warnes defeated Coffey; Shannon defeated Warnes; Parsonage defeated Denton; Warnes defeated Tate.

Handicap Pairs: McCorkindale and Mursell defeated Bennent and Sharp jun.; Pratt and Saunders defeated .Douglas and Patterson; Harrison and Cogswell defeated Hamilton and Whib--I'ey; McCorkindale and Mursell defeated Tennent and Brown; Fairmaid and R. T. Smith defeated Pratt and Saunders; ; Mercer and Laing defeated McDonald and Coffey; Morrison and Tabb defeated Gunn and Denton; Kilgour and partner defeated Vaughan and Southward.

A drawing competition, held last Saturday, was won by J. Shannon.
