(Recd. February 6, 8 a.m.l LONDON, February 5. Alex Henshaw, winner of the King’s Cup race last year, took off from Gravesend at 3.35 a.m. for the' Cape, on an attempt to beat the record held by Clouston and Mrs. Kirby Green. PLANES FROM U.S.A. LONDON, February 4. The Air Ministry has announced that in view of the improved prospect of United States deliveries of aircraft, last year’s order for Lockheed general reconnaissance aircraft will be increased from 200 to 250, and the order for North American training machines from 200 to 400.
