RANGE OP PRICES [PEB PBESB ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI. January 19. At the first Wanganui wool sale of the season, held to-day. before a full bench of buyers, a catalogin' of 27.3-14 bales was offered. Passings were negligible and practically a total clearance was effected unde)' the hammer. Bidding was well spread, ami very animated. and sustained throughout, but was within defined limits. The Continent was the mainstay of the market. with Bradford operating within

limits. As compared with recent, sales, good wools were unchanged, but medium io ordinary topniaking sorts were a little erratic, and slightly in the buyers' favour. Lower quality wools were fully up to recent .sales in other cent res. Lambs’ wool was erratic, ami bal'd to quit. Bellies, pieces am! crutcbiiigs were on a. par with recent, sales.
