WEST COAST CHAMPIONSHIPS The annual West Coast Tennis Championships tournament commenced al. Hokitika yesterday, on the Jubilee and Hokitika courts. Conditions were not favourable for tennis, rain preventing play until 1 pan. A number of close games were witnessed during the afternoon, particularly in the women’s singles championship.
