The Grand Council of the Federation of British Industries received a report from its director, Mr Guj Lccock, regarding the informal conversations before Christmas, with lepresentatives of the German Reichsgruppe Industrie, with leference to Anglo-German trade relations, and the question of competition between the two countries in third country markets, especially in South-eastern Europe.

The Grand Council approved a suggestion that official discussions should be hold between two organisations, with a view to facilitating negotiations between individual industries in Germany and Britain on these subjects. The Reichsgruppe Industrie has been informed and arrangements are being considered for an early meeting between the two bodies.
