GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS.

[PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

DUNEDIN, November 14.

Conditions at Balmacewan to-day for the amateur and professional championship foursomes were unpleasant. Silk, defender of the amateur championship, and J. P. Hornabrook, who Won last year in partnership with W. G. Horne. A. J. Shaw and A. Murray came through the professional championship with good rounds of 75', their aggregate of 150 being one stroke better than that of the winning amateur pair. j; T. Dodgshun and I. R. P. Douglas, of the Otago Club, won the trophy for the best net score in the first round of the amateur foursomes championship with a card of 77, 6 —71. The Myers Cup, awarded to the professional player with the best aggregate net score in the third and fourth rounds of the open championship resulted in a tie between C. C. Clements (Maungakiekie) and N. H. Fuller (unattached). Detailed results of the day’s play are: —
