U.S.S. vessel, Sydney, October 10. SHIPPING NOTES Kartigi arrived yesterday afternoon, from Portland, and is loading for Wellington. Huanui arrived this morning, from Foxton, and is loading for return. Korowai sailed this morning for Melbourne direct, with timber. Totara is due at 6.30 o’clock this: evening, from New Plymouth, and is to sail at 2 a.m. to-morrow, with coal for Miriamar.
Titoki left Wellington at 10 o’clock last night with general cargo and cement for Greymouth, and is due tomorrow morning, to load coal for Tarakohe. She is to returh on Satutrday, to load coal for Nelson and Tarakohe. Foxtoh is due to-morrow, from Foxton, to load coal for return. Kaimiro is to leave Wellington late to-night for Greymotith, and will load here on Friday for Auckland and Portland. Gael left Hokitika yesterday for Bruce Bay and Okuru, returning to Greymouth on Friday, to load for Jackson’s Bay. Waimea is now due on Saturday, from Port Waikato, via Nelson, to load timber for Port Waikato. Omana leaves Wellington to-morrow for Greymouth and will load timber here on Saturday for Adelaide. Karepo is expected to leave Wellington on Friday with cargo for Greymouth, and on arrival here will load for return; Karu leaves Wellington on Friday for Greymouth, to load timber for Petone and Miramar. James Cook is due the first week ,in October with Australian cargo, and will load for Sydney and Newcastle. U.S.S. Co.'vessel is due about October 9, to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle.
