The Moscow correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that 14 high officials of the Agricultural Commission of Azerbaijan are on trial at Baku charged with plotting to restore capitalism by various methods, including the murder of the Soviet leaders. WHEAT RESEARCH. LONDON, August 8. After 10 years’ research, Professor F. L. Engledow has discovered a new wheat, believed to be superior to any of Britain’s varieties. Five crops proved a yield 10 per cent, higher than the best of the other varieties. The straw is. six inches shorter and also stouter, and the grain is highly resistant to rust and disease.
