The Clay Target Championship, the fixed final match at the Dominion Championship, was fired at. the first match on the Dominion trapshooting competitions at Leeston to-day. C. P. Webber, of IVlorrinsville, was the winner. Webber shot off with E. Grootne, H. Quartermain, J. Malcolm, R, McDonald, J. L. Graham, W. Elliott, J. Donnelly, F. E. Cox, and R. E. Farrow. Webber won in the eighteenth round, with Elliott second. Seventy-eight competed, equalling the record set several years ago.
