|()t:u OWN COIIKEseOXDENT.] The monliily meeting of the (Jobden School Committee was held last evening: present; Messrs. E. Cressey (chairman). J. Haddock (secretary). R. Tannage. S. Alderson. G. Williams and Mrs. Lloyd. Au apology was received from Mr. D. R. Lloyd. Acloonts amounting to £l6/9/6 were passed for payment. A deputation consisting of Messrs. P. Higgins and J. Stokes (Home and ‘School Association) waited on the

1 committee, in connection with gymnasium repairs.—After discussion it was decided to write to the Minister for Education for a grant. Messrs. Tannage and Alderson were appointed a. visiting committee for the month. The chairman expressed the regret, of till al I’m? pending departure of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Lloyd, who had done much in advancing any effort of community value. On behalf of residents. he wished them both the best, of health and prosperity.
