Vincent Lopez defeated Abe Y ourist by one fall in the last round of a wrestling bout that had the crowd in a state of great excitement. After a wild bout of jolts in the final round, both men were practically out -on their feet, weakly knocking each -other to the mat, but lacking the strength to follow up their advantages. Lopez took a fall with a body, press after a. series of dumps. GREYMOUTH ROUT Dick Raines, who is to make his first appearance in Greymouth on Saturday night against Abe Yourist, is not a “rough” wrestler, but has prove:, that he possesses the skill necessary to deal with first-class opposition. He has been wrestling as a professional for nine years. Last April, he came close to beating Bronko Nagurski in a world title bout. He has been a force to be reckoned with. Big, strong, and tough, Raines likes the wrestling to be lively, with the rules stretched as far as possible, and his rough tactics have earned him a reputation. He has beaten Pat Fraley and has been I booked for four matches in succession at Auckland. Yonrist, a fast and skilful performer, who will not take any rough usage calmly, is an ideal opponent for Raines;? -
