[PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, July 1The following players have been chosen to represent New Zealand against Australia on Tuesday and Wednesday, at Wellington, in the first Badminton test played between the two countries: — Men —p. Hawksworth (Wairarapa), E. A. Roussell (Wellington), J. Spedding (Taranaki), R. W. Lewis (Waikato). ' x XT Women —Misses M. Kerr (Otago), N. Fleming (Wellington), M. Edmondson (Waikato), Mrs C. P. Wren (Auckland). RIFLE SHOOTING The Runanga Ladies’ Rifle Club held their weekly shoot on Thursday evening Mrs Pattison and Miss Smith had to shoot off for the trophy, Mrs Pattison being the winner. The Hotty Button was also won by Mrs Pattison after shooting off with Mrs Ewen.
