WEATHER FORECAST General Inference: A westerly depression passed in the south, last night, and pressure is now rising there. The anti-cyclone over Eastern Australia has intensified also. In the meantime, the cyclonic depression to the north has travelled south-east-wards, and is now approaching- Cape Maria Van Diemen. Forecast: Light to moderate southerly winds pevailing, later tending to south-easterly and freshening. Weather fair to cloudy, with scattered showers, but improving. Temperatures becoming cooler. Sea slight to moderate.
