ABYSSINIANS AGGRESSIVE
MISSION ATTACKED. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. May 2, 8 a.m.) ROME, May 2. Abyssinians attacked the Catholic mission at Endeber, near Harrar. They killed three Italian missionaries and two native converts. NO RUSSIAN “RECOGNITION.” MOSCOW, April 30. The newspaper “Izvestia” announces that the delegate of the Soviet Union to the council of the League of Nations has been instructed to oppose any move for the recognition of Italian sovereignty in Abyssinia.
