NEW ZEALANDER'S DEATH. •PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.! 1 DUNEDIN. April 29. Golin Calder Byar. a New Zealander. who was trapped in the cabin of his aeroplane when it crashed in Surrey, England, on ’l'uesday last, died two days later as the result of the head injuries he received. Byar's home was in Dunedin and he was the son of Mrs Mary Byar, ot Bellcknowes. and of the late William Price Byar, of Little River. Educated at Otago Boys' High School, deceased was successful in obtaining his "A" licence while still at school and was one of the youngest and most promising pilots to be trained by Otago -Aero Club. Shortly after leaving school, he went to England, and was successful in obtaining a. short term commission in the Royal Air Force. He was only 25 years of ago when the fatal crash occurred.
