WEATHER FORECAST. General. Inference: A depression crossed the central portion of tho Dominion last night, but a. rather deep secondary was- centred near Westport this morning. Pressure has risen considerably over eastern Australia, and in the. North Tasman Sea. Forecast: Strong north to northwest winds, reaching gale force in places, and backing to southerlies. Weather dull, with further rain and some heavy falls, but improving tomorrow. Temperatures cooler. Seas rather rough to rough, but decreasing to-morrow.
