TO THE PEOPLE OF GREYMOUTH. VTEVER before in the history of 5 Greymouth was there greater need of sane and progressive, leadership than to-day. The town is facing a crisis of the first magnitude. Energy, courage and a broadened outlook will be essential in your chosen Mayor. I stand for the keeping down of rates and rents. 1 claim at the same time a. modern anti progressive policy. I will honour my promises, if elected, in the .same manner that I honoured those made last year, and 1 will not be afraid to speak what I know to be the truth. I ask for no sympathy votes., I have a sound policy to expound, and I want your support on the strength of that. If elected, you will have in me an approachable Mayor, who will not turn a deaf ear to the humblest plea. PATRICK BLANCHFIELD.
