Taking advantage of the absence oi lights in. the city, the intruders forced the door of (he Leet Street entrance, and selected a car which was on exhibition between two others. From the petrol station of Eardley Bell, in Kelvin Street, about 20 gallons of petrol were stolen, the lock on one of the pumps being broken. A motorist who left his car outside the Princess Hotel on Sunday night, found that his number-plates had been removed. It was also discovered this morning that attempts had been made to force an entry into three business premises in the city—Dickey’s, Ltd., and Self Help stores in Dee and Tay Streets? All the doors bore the marks of a jemmy.
