WEDDING

LUFF—COOPER. The wedding was solemnised on Easter Thursday, at St. Stephen’s Church, Reefton, by Rev. C. Tanner, of Annie Evelyn, daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Cooper, of Crbnadun, and Albert Edward', son of Mr and Mrs J. H. Luff, of Westport. The bride was given away by her father, and her frock was of ivory embossed slipper satin cut on slimming lines. The shoulders were square cut and shirred, and the sleeves tight-fitting from the elbows to the wrist. The neckline was trimmed with tiny satin buttons and had a stitched collar. The back of the skirt formed a panel' which fell to form a long train. The veil was square cut. and held with a coronet of orange blossom, and the bouquet was of chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern.

Miss Lilian Cooper, twin-sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, and her frock was a redingote of pale pink lace worn over a deeper shade of pink satin. The frock was finished with tiny satin buttons to knee, and was flared open at the knees to show a pleated panel. Her hat was trimmed with satin ribbon and a bouquet to tone was carried. Mr J. Cooper, brother of the bride, was best man. Mrs Discaciati presided at the organ. At the wedding reception at the band room, Mrs Cooper, the bride’s mother, wore a black frock relieved with silver, and' carried a crimson bouquet.
