Overcome by a blizzard on Mount Hotham to-day, Laurence Galbraith, aged 29, a lecturer in civil engineering at the University of Melbourne, was dead when found by a rescue party. He was engaged in an Easter hike through the Alps, where violent storms were reported during the last few days. Galbraith had a brilliant career at the Engineering School in the University, .which he entered as a freshman in 1925.
