Passengers by Cook Strait Airways’ West Coast service to-day were: Wellington to Greymouth: Miss S. Cullen; Greymouth to Nelson: Mr. L. Penny and Miss J. Meade. The need for improving New' Zealand country hotels was stressed by Mr A. P. O’Shea, Dominion secretary of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, on return from Australia to-day.
