LINDBERGH’S PURCHASE
FRENCH ISLAND HOME. [BY CABLE PRESS ASSN. COPYBIGHT.] (Received April 19, 8 a.m.) PARIS, April 18. Lindbergh has bought the small rocky island of Illiec, on the north coast of Brittany, whereon there is a feudal-style chateau, wherein it is expected that the Lindberghs will spend the summers. Illiec is connected- at low tide with the island' of Saint Gildas, where lives Surgeon’ Doctor Alexis Carrel, with whom, Lindbergh is co-operating in the invention of an artificial heart.
