Poppy Day.—Resolved that the secretary- confe-i-with Mr.. Dewe regarding usual arrangements. Saturday, March 23? was decided on as Poppy Day. Anzac Day.—Resolved that, the usual parade be held, members to assemble at the Memorial Hall, and to wear ribbons and medals. Tin's concluded the annual meeting, and a social hour followed. After the loyal toast, the chairman referred to the departure for Christchurch of Mr. L. Dewe, who had been secretary since the inception of the Branch. A presentation was made of a well-filled wallet. Several members spoke, inclnd-'•ing'-Mr. Millen, president of the Hokitika Association. The chairman also referred to the departure of Mr. Pat Foley, for Welliilgtan, and asked him to accept a pipe from the Association as a token -of esteem from members. Mr. Foley suitably replied.
