Galloway, of Rangiora, won the amateur golf championship of Canterbury at Shirley on Saturday for the second year in succession. With a round of 73 in the morning, figures I which would be equal to about 68 in normal conditions, he had a lead of four strokes from J. AV. Jackson and C. J. Ward, and in the afternoon placed himself still further ahead with another line round of 76. At the conclusion he had’lo strokes to spare from the ruiiner-ui Jackson. RECORD FOR COURSE.
