The contest was regarded as a training bout for Schmeling’s world title light with Joe Louis on June 22 next. NEUSEL DEFEATS FOORD. BERLIN, April 16. Walter Neusel defeated Ben Foord in a twelve-round bout, after Foord was disqualified in the eighth round for an alleged low blow. FLYWEIGHT TITLE LONDON, April 15. Benny Lynch will fight Jack Jurich, the American champion, for the world fly-weight title at Glasgow'on June 4.
