Gabriella, Sydney, early. SHIPPING NOTES. Titoki sailed on Saturday evening, with coal for Nelson. Gale sailed on Saturday night, with coal for Wellington. Kartigi arrived on Saturday night from Wellington, and is loading for Auckland. Poolta leaves Wellington to-day, with Greymouth and Hokitika cargo. She is due to-morrow night, and will load on Wednesday for Petone, Miramar and Wellington. Kaimai is due on Wednesday, with cargo from Dunedin, via ports, and will load for Gisborne and Napier. Totara is to load at Bruce Bay on Thursday, for’Wellington. Gabriella is due on Saturday from Wellington, to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. The ketch, Maru, is due shortly with explosives for the Greymouth magazine.
AWATEA’S RECORD. SYDNEY, February 27. The Awatea on arrival to-d'ay is believed to have taken another record on her second birthday. To 8.30 o’clock yesterday she had steamed 150,365 nautical miles, equal to 172,920 statute miles, which, Captain. A. H. Davey said, was. probably a record for any liner in two years. OTHER PORTS.
