Herr Hitler, in a New Year message. spoke of the change from a morally decadent people to a proud and great united nation taking place in Germany. In a. reference which was taken to apply to colonies, he said: “May the rest of the world contribute its share ■‘owards the peaceful solution of questions which are morally and materially based on reason as well as legality.’’ Herr Hitler added that Germany’s motto in the coming year must-be to continue the strengthening of the nation.
