"V’OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Greymouth Borough Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of £66,000, and that the following particulars in respect of such proposed loan are hereby published in compliance with the provisions of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926." PARTICFLARS OF PROPOSED LOAN. .1. The purposes for which the loan is required are the extension of sewerage to Blaketown, ami to that, portion of the Borough of Greymouth situate south of the North Town Belt, and to provide financial assistance by way of loan to property owners to connect with the sewerage system.

2. in respect, of each such purpose the sums proposed to he borrowed are: — £ (a) Extension of sewerage to Blaketown and that portion of Borough South of North Town Belt 57,000 ibi Financial assistance to property owners ■ ■ ■ ■ 9,000 The term of the loan shall be thirty years, and the rate, of interest that may be paid in respect of the loan is not. to exceed £3/10/- per centum per annum. 4. The loan is to be repaid by the establishment of a sinking fund calculated on the amount to be raised of not loss than £l/18/9 per centum per annum. 5. The proposed security for repayment of the loan and interest is to be the 'levying of a special rate of 3.13415 pence in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Greymouth, other than the rateable property in the Cobden area, of the said Borough. 6. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan. 7. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan any interest or sinking fund in respect of the loan. AND FURTHER PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to Section 11 of the “Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,” that a.
