Mrs. Burgess arrived by the Mataroa from London, and left by air this afternoon for Wellington. On arrival this morning, she was met by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Moult of Hataitai, Wellington, and two brothers. The family left for Wellington by car. “I am glad to be back in New Zealand again. We hope to make our home at Auckland. Fatal injuries were sustained, this morning, by Mrs. Janet Annie Holiday, when after stepping from the kerb at Greenwood’s corner, Epsom, she was struck by a motor car. She received extensive head injuries and was dead when the ambulance arrived.
